OUR COMMITMENT IS MULTI-FACETED
As a leading supplier of lacquers and stains we maintain good contacts with various associations, organisations and institutions. The following are a few examples of our commitments.
In June 2015, together with other industrial companies as well as the Dortmund Chamber of Commerce, we have launched the initiative “industry@work”. This initiative shall sustainably improve the perception of the industry as an attractive employer for young people, students, other career starters and professionals and convey a modern image to the society. The companies involved organise events or company visits in close cooperation with the IHK Dortmund. At regular intervals, the initiative presents the development potentials for young people in the industry to the public. industry@work uses the online presence to inform about apprenticeship places and job vacancies, continuously organizes public relations and is present in various target-group-specific events.
The German Bone Marrow Donor Centre (DKMS) helps leukaemia patients across the world. A transfusion of healthy stem cells is the only chance of a cure for many patients. Finding and proposing a suitable donor is the lifesaving task of DKMS, which is a charitable non-profit organisation. We are members in the "Club of 1000" and are thus jointly involved with DKMS in the fight against leukaemia. Many of our staff are registered as potential stem cell donors. It is particularly splendid that two members of staff have already been able to save other peoples lives with their stem cell donations.
The Institute for Wood Technology in Dresden (IHD) is a modern research institute active around the world. With regard to certification and product inspections for our new and future products we work very closely with the IHD or, as may apply, with the EPH (Wood Technology Development and Testing Laboratory), a subsidiary of the IHD.
Schreinerrheinland-Pfalz is the regional guild for carpentry in Rhineland-Palatinate. It represents the interests of around 1,000 guild members and involves itself in the economics, politics and public relations of carpentry in Rhineland-Palatinate. The association brings together members, of which we are one, into a strong community.
As a modern and powerful trade organisation, the Baden-Württemberg Carpentry Association involves itself in a wide range of areas for the industry. Associations and guilds form a strong community serving the interests of carpentry in politics and society. We belong to it as a member of the Schreinerhandwerk mbH support association.
The aim of the Central Association for Parquet and Flooring and Federal Guild for Parquet and Floor Laying in Troisdorf-Oberlar is to use appropriate PR work to highlight and promote the services of its craft at all levels. Essentially this includes technical, operational, trade and socio-political matters.
