Hesse CN top coat NU 30129 is a clear top coat for application on matching Hesse NC basecoats. In addition to its very good levelling and sophisticated surface finish, this high gloss, nitrocellulose lacquer can be polished. This product is free from phthalate softeners and can be used to coat children’s toys.

Surface preparation Prior to application, the surface must be sanded, clean and free of grease.
Substrate sanding grits from-to 400 - 600
Finishing For repair purposes, another coat of the same product can be applied after adequate drying and careful sanding to remove nibs.
Storage temperature 10 - 30 °C
Working temperature 20 °C
Processing instructions Single-coat application at 100 - 150 g/m² on suitable Hesse basecoats. The maximum application amount in wet film totals 150 g/m2.
Particular instructions The product NU 30129 can be polished and buffed. For further details please see our separate Technical Information on "Polishing." Pre-priming is possible depending on the desired finish and substrate, for example with: NG 3880, NG 3808.
General instructions on workmanship Please test the lacquer under real conditions, if necessary.
