Information on use

Stackable after stackable directly after UV curing
Curing Hardening by means of ultraviolet rays with mercury UV-lamps. Sufficient radiation energy must be provided. This depends primarily on the type, conditions, age and design of the lamp system, so that the optimum UV lamp settings can be implemented on the respective system, and the curing should be checked. Your Hesse representative will assist you with the determination of the necessary radiant energy.
Surface preparation The substrate must be dry, dust-free and grease-free.
Finishing For system build-up with certified products such as suitable UV lacquers.
Comments on sanding Sanding is required to achieve good adhesion to the substrate depending on the substrate’s condition. Wood substrates should be sanded at 120 - 220 grit subject to wood type. Membrane substrates and basecoats should be freshly sanded at 320 - 600 grit. Dust should be carefully removed from the substrate after sanding. Intermediate sanding should generally be omitted when the bond is established when using a primer or the gelling process.
Yield per coat 48 - 96 m²/l

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.
Working Temperature Range 20 - 40 °C
Storage temperature 10 - 35 °C
conditions of transport frost-free - up to a maximum of 35 °C
Processing instructions Regularly check the specified application quantities. Stir the material thoroughly before application. Clean rollers using suitable thinners!
General instructions on workmanship Clean lamps and reflectors on a regular basis using a soft, lint-free cloth and UV 7111.
Only touch the lamps when wearing cotton gloves. Note the lamp's operating hours and replace them as per the lamp manufacturer's recommendations. Always protect open containers from the incidence of light (cover them).
Seal containers properly after use.
Sufficient lacquer sanding and inspection of the bond within the entire structure will be required in each case. Please apply a trial coating under practical conditions!

The coating process and the precise treatment parameters are adapted in each case to the respective application and drying conditions and can be found in the customer-specific process descriptions (surface techniques).
