Fields of application

For staining and subsequent coating of furniture, stairs and doors in industrial and craft applications. These stains can be sprayed and then wiped.

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specified theoretic spreading rate reduces by up to 40 % with spray applications. Brushing or manual application methods are virtually loss-free. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.

Surface preparation The wood must be dry, dust-free and grease-free.
Substrate sanding grits from-to 120 - 240
Finishing You can apply matching Hesse CN, PU or RSE lacquers or Proterra products by spraying, rolling, brushing or flow coating after at least 2 h drying. Finishing with a matching 1C or 2C HYDRO or HYDRO-UV lacquer by spraying or flow coating is possible after 6 h drying.
Comments on sanding A graduated raw wood sanding is recommended. The quality of the sanding is decisive for the quality of the final result.
Working temperature 20 °C
Processing instructions Apply stain by spraying or with a brush with excess. Remove the excess evenly first crosswise to the grit then along it using gauze bales. Stir stains well before and during processing. All stains from the same range can be mixed with one another. Can be tinted with colour concentrates in the range: CF 50xx, CP 76xx, CP 70xx . We recommend small spray nozzle sizes for stains that are to be sprayed but not subsequently wiped. Although large spray nozzle sizes are recommended when spraying stains that are subsequently to be wiped.
Particular instructions Lighten by adding: CV 326. Can be tinted with colour concentrates in the range: CF 50xx, CP 70xx, CP 76xx. Stains on the XBK 6 stain card are adjusted for oak and mahogany. Hesse stains are matched to each type of wood in terms of colour tone and application. Additional types of application and woods are available.
