The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specified theoretic spreading rate reduces by up to 40 % with spray applications. Brushing or manual application methods are virtually loss-free. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.

Surface preparation Clean, dry wood, clean suitable foil substrate or matching pigment filler. Free from oil, grease, wax and silicones. Correctly sanded and free from sanding dust.

Comments on sanding The quality and uniformity of the wood and of the lacquer sanding are crucial to the final surface finish. After sanding, remove dust as prescribed.

Processing instructions When used in spraying: Working viscosity: 22 - 24 s; where necessary up to 15 % addition of RSV 9993 is possible!
Particular instructions Due to its limited water resistance, do not use on open-pore structures for tables and worktops! Please apply a test coat under real conditions! Pre-priming is possible depending on the surface-finish requirements and substrate, for example with: RSP 94520-9343. Isolate content rich tropical wood beforehand with DG 4720-0001, DG 572-1. When directly coating cleaned or sanded foils, please apply a test coat to check the bonding! Storage class as per German Industrial Health and Safety Regulations (BetrSichV): Highly flammable. Please observe the latest version of the material safety data sheet!
General instructions on workmanship Reactive coatings should not be used or dried at material and room temperatures of less than 18 °C and below relative humidity of 40 %, ideal values: 20 - 25 °C, 50 - 65 % relative humidity. Deviations will result in drying or curing errors. In order to avoid problems with bonding, please sand the reactive lacquers before applying fresh lacquer and apply lacquer to the sanded surfaces as soon as possible. The final hardening of the lacquer will be reached after one week of proper storing (at least 20 °C room temperature). Please apply a test coat under real conditions!
