Hesse’s extremely low odour, one component nitrocellulose lacquer ECO TOP sealant FF31x is aromatic free and PVC resistant. This multicoat lacquer is suitable for priming and top coating with a significantly reduced nuisance from smell due to its alcohol-based solvent. The product is free from phthalate softeners and can therefore also be used for coating children’s toys. This lacquer meets the requirements for certification as "LGA tested for harmful substances."

Fields of application

Hesse ECO TOP-SIEGEL can be used on all interior fittings and is ideally suited for coating the insides of cupboards and children’s toys.

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specified theoretic spreading rate reduces by up to 40 % with spray applications. Brushing or manual application methods are virtually loss-free. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.

Surface preparation Clean, dry wood, dependent upon wood type and method of application.

Finishing After sufficient drying time and intermediate sanding, another coat of the same.

Processing instructions You can apply two to three coats at 80 - 150 g/m² on suitable substrates. The maximum application amount in wet film totals 350 g/m2. This product must not be combined with other products in the overall build-up of the finish!
Particular instructions PVC-stability is achieved after 2 to 3 weeks.
General instructions on workmanship Please test the lacquer under real conditions, if necessary.
