Hesse PURA-TWIN can be used for all internal fixtures and furniture coatings to build up an open-pored surface finish on common European deciduous and coniferous woods.

Surface preparation |
Prior to application, the surface must be sanded, clean and free of grease. Clean and dry wood is the prerequisite for a faultless coating.

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.

Processing instructions |
You can apply two or three coats at 80 - 150 g/m². The maximum application amount in wet film totals 350 g/m2. The following Hesse hardener types can be used to improve the water and PVC resistance of PURA-TWIN: mixing ratio 25 : 1 by volume with DR 470 / DR 4070 or mixing ratio 50 : 1 with DR 471 / DR 4071. In each case the pot life is 5 h at 20 °C. Older hardener-lacquer mixtures no longer offer the desired resistance!
