DB 44099-(colour tone) is a coloured high gloss lacquer with impressive lacquer distribution. This product has good body and dries to be very brilliant and high gloss, combined with optimal sanding and polishing properties. Our coloured high gloss lacquer is available in virtually all colour tones.

Fields of application

DB 44099-(colour tone) can be used for all interior fixtures and fittings, including in kitchens and bathrooms as well as for coatings in ship interiors.

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.

Particular instructions Please also observe the separate technical information on the subject "Polishing/Buffing". Depending on the required surface finish and backing material, pre-priming is possible, for instance with Hesse PU Isolation primer DP 4791-9343 or Hesse PU Isolation primer DP 4791-9005. An intermediate coat of Hesse PU Coloured lacquer DB 45245-(colour tone) applied in the same colour as the selected Hesse PU Brilliant lacquer DB 44099-(colour tone), between primer and high gloss coating, greatly improves the outcome of the high-gloss structure!

General instructions on workmanship PU paints should not be applied or dried at material and room temperatures of below 18 °C or relative humidity of below 40 %, ideal values: 20 - 25 °C, 50 - 65 % RH. Deviations from these guidelines may lead to problems with drying or hardening. Any mixed lacquer left over from the previous day should only be used as a 10 - 20 % proportion added to a fresh mixture of lacquer and hardener. Old lacquer/hardener mixtures impair the surface quality (bonding/resilience). Freshly bleached woods must undergo intermediate drying for at least 48 h / 20 °C before overpainting with PU lacquers. The final hardness of the coating is achieved after one week in correct storage conditions (at least 20 °C room temperature). Please apply a test coat under real conditions!
