Fields of application

This basecoat achieves a natural wood character.
It is also the ideal basis for creating coloured surface finishes.Not suitable for smoked oak and heat-treated wood.

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specified theoretic spreading rate reduces by up to 40 % with spray applications. Brushing or manual application methods are virtually loss-free. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.

Curing

Surface preparation The substrate must be dry, dust-free and grease-free.
Substrate sanding grits from-to 120 - 240
Intermediate lacquer sanding (grits) from-to 320 - 400
Finishing For coating parquet flooring with suitable subsequent lacquering in the system structure.
Comments on sanding The quality and uniformity of the substrate and lacquer sanding are crucial to the final surface quality. After sanding, remove dust as prescribed.

Stacking and packaging is then possible
Further handling of the finished surfaces, such as producing tongue and groove joints or installing lock systems, is even possible after only around 30 minutes.
Particular instructions The measured gloss level depends on the application quantity, application process, activation parameters and the condition of the substrate.
General instructions on workmanship Clean lamps and reflectors on a regular basis using a soft, lint-free cloth and UV 7111.
Only touch the lamps when wearing cotton gloves. Note the lamp's operating hours and replace them as per the lamp manufacturer's recommendations. Always protect open containers from the incidence of light (cover them).
Seal containers properly after use.
Sufficient lacquer sanding and inspection of the bond within the entire structure will be required in each case. Please apply a trial coating under practical conditions!
