Information on use

Drying 48 h / 20 °C
Surface preparation The wood must be dry, dust-free and grease-free.
Substrate sanding grits from-to 120 - 180
Finishing After sufficient drying of the bleaching agent for at least 48 h / 20 °C a subsequent coat of matching PU lacquers permitted for use on bleached woods can be applied, such as DG 4717-0004, DG 4741-0001, DG 4716, DE 4259x(gloss level), etc. In the case of exotic woods and cherry, only apply the next coat after 72 h drying.
Yield per coat 12 - 30 m²/l

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.
Storage temperature 5 - 30 °C
Working temperature 20 °C
conditions of transport frost-free - up to a maximum of 35 °C
Processing instructions An activator must be added to the bleaching agent prior to application: 5% (grav.) BA 811.
Apply activated bleaching agent richly on wood with synthetic sponge or brush with synthetic bristles. Remove excess with wrung up sponge. Due to the intense roughening of the wood by the bleaching process, the bleached surface should be re-sanded with a sanding sponge, grit size 150. Under-dosing of activator or use of another activator type may cause surface blemishes. By contaminations such as wood dust, lacquer mist, etc., the pot life is shortened significantly. Initiating, clearly visible appearance of gas bubbles indicates the early end of usability.
Particular instructions Lighten by adding: water. To maintain the structure of certain kinds of wood, e.g. of walnut and cherry, we recommend bleaching with diluted bleaching agent. Mixture 1 part bleaching agent : 2 parts water. Add activator only after dilution.
