Particular instructions |
Dissolve 25 g of wood soap in 1 l of boiling water. Apply this hot solution liberally and use a scrubbing brush to work it in the grain direction until it forms a foam. Allow it to absorb for 1 minute and then apply and brush the solution again. Next wash it off with lukewarm water, let the excess drip off the wood and dry it off with a clean cloth. Allow the wood to dry at 20 °C and then use 180 grit to sand it lightly, use 120 grit on softwood. On the same day, remove any resin pockets and then stain and prime the workpiece.
