Surface preparation Clean, dry wood, free of oil, grease, wax and silicones. Sanded as prescribed and free from sanding dust.

Comments on sanding The quality and uniformity of the wood and of the lacquer sanding are crucial to the final surface finish. After sanding, remove dust as prescribed.

The spreading rate is heavily dependent on the type of application. The specifications relate to a liter of ready-for-use product, if necessary including hardener and thinner.

Processing instructions Mix the lacquer and hardener carefully. Work the hardener in well.To prevent drying delays due to increased ambient humidity, we recommend the addition of around 10 % RSV 9997 to the lacquer/hardener mixture rather than the usual thinner.
Particular instructions Material susceptible to yellowing in the absence of light; do not use on white or pastel substrates! This product is not suitable for use on bleached surfaces! Isolate content rich tropical wood beforehand with DG 4720-0001, DG 572-1. Please apply a test coat under real conditions! Storage class as per German Industrial Health and Safety Regulations (BetrSichV): Highly flammable. Please observe the latest version of the material safety data sheet!
General instructions on workmanship Reactive coatings should not be used or dried at material and room temperatures of less than 18 °C and below relative humidity of 40 %, ideal values: 20 - 25 °C, 50 - 65 % relative humidity. Deviations will result in drying or curing errors. In order to avoid problems with bonding, please sand the reactive lacquers before applying fresh lacquer and apply lacquer to the sanded surfaces as soon as possible. The final hardening of the lacquer will be reached after one week of proper storing (at least 20 °C room temperature). Please apply a test coat under real conditions!

Wood-sanding grit 150 - 180 with subsequent dust removal Coating: 2 x 80 - 100 g/m² Hesse 2C Reactive system RSE 95454, mixing ratio (by volume) 10 : 1 with Hardener RSR 90010) Addition of thinner: 10 % RSV 9991 Intermediate drying time of at least 60 - 90 min / 20 °C room temperature with adequate ventilation. Intermediate sanding grit 280 - 320 with good dust removal. Packable: after drying, requires at least 16 h / 20 °C room temperature and with adequate ventilation.
