Scratch resistance

Scratch and scoring resistance. The easiest test, but inaccurate: attempt at scratching with the nail of the thumb or index finger. Scratch resistance test using a blade or a scribe needle weighed with up to 500g and run across the surface. The weight at which the first permanent scratch appears corresponds to the scratch resistance in accordance with the respective definition. Pencil procedure: Pencils from 6B to 9H are run over the lacquer film in sequence at an angle of 30° and under the same load.
